Eddie Hearn has cast doubt over whether Tyson Fury will actually agree to fight Dillian Whyte.
Fury vs Whyte has been in the works for some time, with Whyte being the mandatory challenger to Fury’s WBC heavyweight title, which he won and later defended against hard-hitting American Deontay Wilder.
There were several weeks of uncertainty, during which fans were unsure whether Fury would fight Whyte or pursue an undisputed bout with Oleksandr Usyk, who became the unified heavyweight champion with a win over Anthony Joshua in September.
However, over the past week, Fury has continually reiterated his desire to fight Whyte. The Gypsy King has gone as far as insisting the fight is ON, but we haven’t heard anything definitive as of yet. There is no contract signed.

Rather worryingly, Eddie Hearn has today cast doubt over whether Fury will accept the opportunity to fight Whyte.

It remains to be seen if Hearn has legitimate concerns or is merely hoping that comments of his nature will accelerate things in Fury’s camp and get the contract signed as soon as possible. We shall see…
