Tyson Fury drops HUGE hint over Dillian Whyte fight location – and fans will be delighted

Tyson Fury has confirmed via Twitter that his upcoming bout with Dillian Whyte will take place on UK soil.

Fury’s last four fights have all been held in the United States, with the Gyspy King challenging former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and ultimately removing him from his throne. A win over Otto Wallin was sandwiched in between the trilogy, with that having taken place in Nevada.

Fury has not fought in the UK since his tussle with Francesco Pianeta in August of 2018. That was staged in Belfast, with his comeback fight, just two months earlier, having been staged in Manchester.

It’s safe to say that UK boxing fans are keen to see the greatest active current British fighter in the flesh, without having to jet off halfway around the world. Fury has dropped a major hint that they will have the opportunity to do so when he meets Whyte in the ring.

We’d expect a location to be officially confirmed in due course. Both Manchester and Cardiff have been mooted as potential host cities, but both could have been crossed off the list as negotiations progressed. We shall see.
