(Video) Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk chat on FaceTime as fight talk ramps up

Heavyweight champions Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk had a FaceTime interaction on Friday night.

Fury holds the only belt that evades Usyk, who won the IBF, WBO, WBA (Super) and IBO heavyweight titles. The Gypsy King won the WBC title having defeated Deontay Wilder by TKO in the second bout between the pair.

The pair appear to be on a collision course, with there having been some suggestion that Anthony Joshua could stand aside from his rematch with the Ukrainian in order to pave the way for an undisputed fight between Fury and Usyk.

That doesn’t look to be on the cards now, with AJ set to fight Usyk for a second time and Fury having been ordered into a bout with mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte by the WBC.

However, it’s a fight that fans would love to see at some point in the future, with the pair already having laid the groundwork for a unification bout by speaking on FaceTime on Friday night.

“I am coming,” says Fury, who will be the overwhelming favourite heading into his potential bout with Whyte and will then surely look to fight the winner of Joshua vs Usyk II next.
