Tyson Fury took to Twitter on Wednesday to send out a cryptic tweet, with fans anxiously waiting for official announcement of his fight with Anthony Joshua.
The heavyweight division is perfectly poised for Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to go toe-to-toe in a unification bout. All signs point towards the fight materialising, we just await official confirmation from the both parties.
After Tyson Fury defeated Deontay Wilder, and Anthony Joshua won his belts back off of Andy Ruiz Jr, all belts are held by the British heavyweight superstars – but only one of them can become the unified, undisputed champion.
The boxing world is itching for confirmation to come that these two will be taking to the ring together, and with Tyson Fury having taken to Twitter to send out the below cryptic tweet, you wonder if the announcement could be around the corner.

There’s hoops to jump through to get the fight pencilled in, more than there usually would be, but an agreement appears to be nearing. As reported by the Daily Mail, Eddie Hearn has suggested that it could be reached by the end of this week.
It better be – we’ve waited too long already, there’s only so much longer that we can twiddle our thumbs before we’re going to have to start demanding that we get a date for what could be one of the best and biggest heavyweight bouts of all-time.
