Tyson Fury has given Dillian Whyte a quite hilarious nickname after his upcoming opponent decided not to turn up for their first fight press conference.
Whyte waited until the final possible opportunity to give his commitment to challenging Fury for the WBC Heavyweight Title.
With Frank Warren having won the purse bids, that played into his hands in terms of giving Whyte an unfavourable split of the fight purse.
Whyte is also understood to have been given no promise of backend PPV, which he’ll no doubt be frustrated with considering this is the biggest fight of his career.

Whether that was justification for him to swerve the press conference is a matter of opinion, but Fury wasn’t best impressed with his decision not to turn up.
Speaking to the media, running the press conference singlehandedly, Fury revealed his new nickname for his compatriot – and it’s a good one, too!
