Molly-Mae has sparked outrage in the past for her failure to recognise her privilege. The former Love Island star lives by the ‘work hard and you can achieve anything’ mantra, which is true, to an extent.
After this recent debacle, Tommy, whose father’s side of the family are all Gypsies, really ought to be giving his missus a stern talking to, because she’s landed herself in the bad books of the social media world.

Molly-Mae clearly has a very limited understanding of how those from different socio-economic backgrounds to herself don’t have the same means or opportunities to achieve “anything,” irrespective of how hard they work.
We’d be interested to gauge the reaction of the poorly-paid Pretty Little Thing sweatshop workers as their tone-deaf ‘Creative Director’ tells them they need to work harder if they want to make anything out of their lives.
Like it or not, Tommy Fury will always be closely associated with his girlfriend’s comments and on this particular topic, considering his own background, with 1 in 5 people in the UK currently living in poverty, it doesn’t read well.
