Tyson Fury drops fight hint on Instagram as speculation intensifies

Heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury has dropped a major hint that he is set to enter fight camp.

Fury defended his WBC heavyweight title with an emphatic knockout of Deontay Wilder back in October. The Gyspy King has been out of the ring since – and in truth – has been uncharacteristically inactive since his return to the sport.

He will likely be hoping to remain more active this year as he looks to build momentum ahead of a potential undisputed bout later in the year. Recent reports have suggested that Dillian Whyte could be his next opponent.

While the two negotiating parties have struggled to reach an agreement over the purse split, Fury has now given fans encouragement that a compromise will be found and his next fight could be on the horizon.

As is reported by The Sun, Fury has flown ‘renowned nutritionist’ George Lockhart into his native Morecambe, which is ordinarily a tell-tale sign that he is set to ramp up preparations for his next bout.

It remains to be seen at this point if he will be fighting WBC mandatory Whyte with the belt on the line or will be forced to look elsewhere. Either way, we’d expect to have official communication on that front soon.
