Frank Warren has given a new update on Tyson Fury following his retirement.
Fury, announced he was hanging up the gloves for good after suffering back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.
There had been much speculation surrounding a potential fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua in 2025, but the Morecambe fighter took to social media to deliver bad news to UK fight fans.
In a video the former WBC champion said: “I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing, it’s been a blast. I’ve loved every single minute of it.
“I’m going to end with this, Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side.”

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren claims that ‘The Gypsy King’ IS retired despite not everyone in the sport believing it following several similar announcements that he later back-tracked on.
Warren told BoxingScene: ‘I don’t speak to him on a regular basis because he’s spending time with his family.
‘He had nearly a year in training camp with a fight. One camp, very late into the camp, fell apart because of his cut eye.
‘He got back in camp again for the Usyk fight. Then he had another camp for it [the rematch].
‘Last year was a lot of sacrifice for him, not seeing his family, his wife and kids and so forth. He’s making up for it now.
‘He’s retired, and I’m just looking forward to him being happy. That’s all I want to do, is see him being happy. He’s retired and God bless him.’
