Francesco Totti’s time at his beloved Roma looks far from over after club president James Pallotta said he has a six-year contract as a club director ready on the table.
Palette didn’t say anything about whether the 40-year-old will play on for another season but his time at the club looks far from over should he sign the 6 year deal.
Totti earned a one-year contract extension last summer after a string of great performances towards the end of the season, but his playing future remains uncertain as he continues to be used in a backup role for Roma this term.
“We’ve not spoken (about his playing future) but Francesco has a six-year contract as a director,” Pallotta said to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Should he take it?
