French fan reveals which player from the World Cup he would like France to have on their team

As France beat Denmark to qualify for the World Cup knockout stages, a Les Bleus fan gave his opinion on which player he would take for his nation’s team.

Despite France possessing the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele, Kingsley Coman and Olivier Giroud in attack, the supporter named Marcus Rashford as the player he would like to see play for his country.

There were questions surrounding Rashford’s selection in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man squad for Qatar, as the Manchester United attacker was selected ahead of Brentford striker and the Premier League’s third top scorer Ivan Toney, but he managed to justify his selection with a goal in England’s opening group game victory against Iran.

And that is exactly what the France fan referred to when explaining his choice.

He’s an amazing player inside the box and I like the way he finishes attacks, especially in the first game against Iran after he just entered the match.”

Ahead of the World Cup, Spain manager Luis Enrique is also understood to have expressed his love for Rashford, not a bad admirer for the 25-year old to have.
