Paulie Malignaggi has given his take on a match-up between Anthony Joshua and David Haye.
At his peak the ‘Hayemaker’ was a world class cruiserweight before stepping up to the heavyweight division where he would win a world title against the giant Nikolai Valuev.
At the end of his career there was speculation that the two Brits could meet in the ring but two shock defeats to Tony Bellew sent Haye off to retirement once more.
Speaking to Lord Ping Malignaggi gave his assessment on the the now mythical match-up.

He said: “Haye was an enigma, so on one hand, you’d think he could beat Joshua, but then you think it’s Haye, he’d probably figure out a way not to be good in a fight like that.”
“I’m not knocking Haye, he was a great cruiserweight, but I’d pick AJ. AJ would be too vicious.”
