๐Ÿšจ Former UFC title contender reveals how much he got paid for GSP fight, it’s unbelievable

Dan Hardy has revealed the purse he received for fighting Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title in 2010.

โ€˜The Outlawโ€™ came up short against one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time, like many other dropping a wide decision (50-43, 50-44, 50-45.)

Despite facing one of the top fighters he only earnt $24,000 for his title fight against GSP.

But staggeringly he only walked away with a measly $5,400 after expenses and tax deductions.

Speaking in an interview with The British Entrepreneur he said:

โ€œI mean as an idea, and I was never any good at negotiating contracts. I never asked for more money. Because I just wasnโ€™t really interested in it and that was my mistake at the time I think.

โ€œSo I fought GSP for twenty-four thousand dollars. So the money I put in my bank account after that fight had happened was five thousand four hundred dollars. And that was a world title fight from 10-11 years ago.โ€

Hardy also claimed that GSP made a whopping $4 million to $5 million.

The Brit added:

โ€œHe got four or five million because he was on pay-per-view points, as well as his purse.โ€

โ€œI mean, you know weโ€™ve had this conversation. Iโ€™ve trained with GSP. He spent five times what I got paid on his training camp.โ€
