Former UFC star Brendan Schaub has claimed Conor McGregor could be losing up to $5-10million a month as a result of his recent legal issues.
McGregor, 36, was found liable in his sexual assault civil case against Nikita Hand recently.
The Irishman has protested his innocence and claimed his sexual relationship with Hand was consensual.
The former UFC champion was accused of raping Ms Hand, who was awarded €248,603 (£206,000) in damages after a jury found that he was liable of assaulting her and he has also been ordered to pay her legal fees.
Since the verdict numerous businesses have cut ties with his brands due to the controversy.

Brendan Schaub gives a worrying assessment on McGregor’s future financial state.
Speaking on his podcast he said: “For him to lose [Proper 12], you’re talking about millions of dollars per month, gone. There’s no payout.
“Because when you’re accused of what he’s been accused of, that goes completely against the contract and you get no backup money, they don’t pay you a severance fee. There’s none of that. So you’re talking possibly, I don’t know how much they pay him, maybe $5-10 million dollars a month.”
“When you’re banking on that [money] as Conor and you’re spending the money like he’s spending … when he was coming up, $10 million changes his life.
“Let’s say he buys mansions, I bet he bought a few of them. He buys these cars.
“Now unless he paid all cash for those, those still have a payment every month. Chances are he didn’t pay all cash. So his monthly nut, just based off what we see online, is a few million dollars a month. Most of that was taken care of from the money he was getting from Proper 12.”
“All those companies jump off, so you go from $10 million a month to zero. But the government, with your taxes, and your mortgage payments on multiple houses, and those yachts that you leased or bought, those cars that you leased or have car payments on, or your kids’ private school, or Dee’s monthly payment, whatever you pay her for shopping and whatever, or the housekeeper, and then your parents’ house, you start adding that all up … you don’t have an answer for that. And it’s a real problem.”
McGregor recently teased a fight with Michael Chandler once again after their fight this year was cancelled.
It remains to be seen if we ever see ‘The Notorious’ enter the Octagon again.
