Ravel Morrison has been convicted of fraud after it was discovered that he was using the blue badge of a deceased individual.
The former Manchester United player has been ordered to pay a fine of almost £2,000 by the Manchester Magistrates’ Court after pleading guilty to one count of fraud.

The 30-year-old claimed that he bought the badge from someone in Old Trafford and was found out after a council parking warden noted that it belonged to an individual who passed away the previous year.
“This ruling shows that the law is applicable to everyone, with no exceptions. I am grateful for the diligent work of our investigating officers as well as legal counsel who were able to successfully prosecute this case.” A spokesperson from the city council said in a statement.
