Ex-Manchester United defender Wes Brown has revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson once hit him over the head with a cricket bat.
The 43-year old, who made 362 appearances for the Red Devils, told the story on the Football Social Daily podcast where the incident all stemmed from him informing the Scot that he was looking to move house.
โHe used to have this little cricket bat, I donโt know if it was signed by an Australian or New Zealand player.
โHe told me I had to move and I told him where I was going to move to. Then he hit me with a cricket bat.
โHe told me I had to move from Longsight.
โAnd then I told him I was looking for places in the city centre, which provoked the whack. It was just a little whack over the head. Saying that, he still whacks me now when I see him!โ

Sir Alex certainly sounded like a one-of-a-kind manager during his 27 years at Old Trafford, I donโt think anyone can imagine Erik Ten Hag giving his players this kind of treatment nowadays!
