In today’s match between Fuenlabrada and Girona in the Spanish second division, there was utter chaos for over 2 minutes. Cristobal was originally sent off for a reckless high boot. VAR then changed this to a yellow and brought him back from the changing room.
The first thing Cristobal does when he gets back onto the pitch is confront a Girona player just to get a second yellow and be sent off again.
