Sligo Rovers have emerged with a win in this evening’s SSE Airtricity Premier Division match, with Liam Buckley’s side entertaining Finn Harps.

The final result saw Rovers with a two-goal lead after scores by Ryan DeVries, Ronan Murray and Ronan Coughlan left the side as winners at home.

The win has brought the Rovers to third in the Premier Division table.

Harps ended the game with nine men, and also saw manager Ollie Horgan sent to the stands.

There was a 7.45pm start at the Showgrounds where Ryan DeVries had an early score for the Rovers.

Mark Russell later scored an equaliser for Harps, while in the second half, Ronan Murray brought the Rovers ahead again with a second score.

A third score for Rovers came from Ronan Coughlan in a penalty shot.
