Shamrock Rovers were hoping to add another win to their season this evening against St Patrick’s Athletic in Richmond Park, but had to settle for a nil-all draw instead.

The Hoops had won all seven of their games so far this season, but failed to get past the St Pat’s defence.

Despite the draw, Rovers still sit top of the table, trailed by Bohemians in second place.

St Pat’s were reduced to ten men after Shane Griffin received a second yellow card early in the second half.

The Hoops dominated play, put couldn’t make the most of the one-man advantage.
