James McClean is trying to his best to brighten up the world in a very dark time as one family was suffering more than most in Derry this year.
4 year old twins, Adam and Aoife tragically lost their father Thomas at the age of 29 to a heart attack in April.
Coming up to their recent 4th birthday, their mother Bronagh put out an appeal for birthday cards to be sent to her young twins to help cheer them up.
Along with over 3000 cards from across the globe, they received a special card and video from James McClean that had a nice surprise inside it, tickets to Disneyland in Paris with the message
“I thought I would wish you a big, very happy fourth birthday and I hope you enjoy your surprise trip to Disneyland. Have a good day!”
Bronagh is so thankful to everyone who helped organise the twins birthday, from locals in Derry to those sending cards from as far as New York and Australia.
