Jake Paul defeated a 58-year-old Mike Tyson recently.
‘The Problem Child’ beat the boxing icon via a comfortable points decision in a bout that was completely uneventful.
Following the fight Paul once again said he’s targeting a showdown with Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez.
Speaking to TMZ another boxing legend Floyd Mayweather gave his assessment on Jake Paul’s boxing career, but warned him about facing Canelo.
He said: “If you go back, you’ve got to look on the internet and do your homework, I think (Jake) was doing a sitdown on a podcast one time and he was talking about, ‘I don’t want to do an exhibition against Floyd Mayweather’, he said ‘I’m only doing real fights’ and of course, I can’t get high up in weight.
“I’d fight him in a real fight in the weight that I’m at but Jake Paul, I mean as of right now for what he’s doing, it’s good for what he’s doing but once he fights a real actual fighter, it’s gonna be bad.
“One thing I do like about him, he’s selling it and he’s making good money and he’s entertaining, I like it.
On a fight with Canelo, Mayweather gave a blunt prediction.
“He’d get f*cked up by Canelo. There’s no way (he’d win) he’d get demolished,” Mayweather added
Jake Paul is a coward. He fights people when he has the advantage: (weight, age, experience) and only bullies do that. He’s a deluded fraud.
