That would have gone disastrously wrong for the Scot and wins at Twickenham are a hard thing to come by, whatever goes through Finn Russell’s head. Great player and all that he is and a great game that he had. At times Finn Russell does some wild things, including a sin bin in the game for leaving a leg out in one of the tackles that earned him ten minutes on the sidelines.
Could that rule Finn Russell out of any test start in the Lions this summer, if it does go ahead, with all Finn Russell’s brilliance can you fully trust him?
