We are still no closer to the return of ‘The Notorious’.
The Irishman hasn’t fought since 2021 in the Octagon when he suffered a leg break against Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight.
He was scheduled to return earlier this year against Michael Chandler but the bout was scrapped with McGregor blaming a broken toe.
News broke a few days ago that Chandler has finally given up on the red panty night fight against McGregor and will now take on Charles Oliveira at UFC 309.

This leaves McGregor without a dance partner and his return to fighting looks even more unlikely now.
