The Spaniard won a World Cup and two European Championships in what was a seriously talented Spanish team and moved to Chelsea where he won a Champions League medal, who will ever forget that goal against Barcelona a the Camp Nou to seal their place in the Champions League final. But his best days were in the red of Liverpool and by the time he moved to Chelsea he had injuries which cost him a yard or two of his blistering pace. He returned to his boyhood club Athletic Madrid at the later part of his career where he won a Europa medal and runners up in the Champions League. One of the best Spanish strikers to play the game.
