Kilkenny hurler and Sure Ambassador, Richie Hogan visited the training ground of Southampton football club recently where he met fellow Irish sports fanatic Shane Long and his teammates James Ward-Prowse, Sofiane Boufal & Jack Stephens.
Incidentally, Hogan’s last clash with Long came in the 04/05 minor hurling championship between Kilkenny & Tipperary respectively before Long devoted himself to football full-time. #NeverMoreSure
The athletes put their hurling and football skills to the ultimate test with pressure challenges based on the player’s individual skill sets and performance statistics.
As well as having a go at shooting and dribbling tests, the cross-bar challenge helped decide the ultimate pressure challenge forfeit!
