The FA is lining the FA Cup and Carabao Cup Finals as ‘test events’ ahead of the Euros to see how they handle fans being back in stadiums during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic according to a report from The Times via The Mirror.

Tottenham are set to face off against Manchester City on April 25th which is just weeks away so fans could be looking at a possible return into stadiums sooner than expected if the tests go well.

The FA Cup Final is scheduled for May 15th but the teams are still unknown.

This news comes with after the vaccination rollout has begun with the FA expecting everyone attending to be vaccinated and these ‘socially distanced’ matches will have less people in attendance so they can adhere to a possible 2 metre distance guidelines inside the stadium.

Other countries have seen the return of a portion of their fans like Australia and New Zealand where the virus seems to be under control. Are you excited about the return of fans into stadiums or is it too soon.

Fans may also be expected to return negative COVID test results the day before games.
