UFC 303’s opening press conference for Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler is off.

Fans are not happy after the press conference in Dublin was cancelled.

While spectators did not have to pay for Monday’s press conference, it was a ticketed event and tickets were all claimed within minutes of them being released to the public.

But many have been left disappointed after booking travel and accommodation for the press conference.

The company posted on social media late on Sunday night to announce the cancellation but did not give any reasons or a new date.

On X formerly twitter the UFC account wrote:

‘Dear UFC Fans–

The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice.  We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend.  When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you.’

Fans took to social media and reacted to the news.

One said: ‘Knew this was all too good to be true man.’

Another added: ‘Conor’s probably too busy partying that day.’

A third moaned: F*** sake I’ve booked a hotel and time off work thanks !!! UFC.’

A fourth commented: ‘If the reason is not given, I assume that one of the two fighters is at fault.’

UFC 303 takes place June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with McGregor vs. Chandler headlining the event with a five-round, non-title welterweight bout… hopefully.
