Trent Alexander Arnold did not look at all happy after being hooked off in Liverpool’s FA Cup loss to Brighton.
Despite the lofty expectations prior to the Premier League season kicking off, it looks like Liverpool could finish the season without any silverware.
The only competition left that they could possibly win is the Champions League but they must find a way to beat the holders, Real Madrid in the next round.
There were still hopes that they could go far in the FA Cup until they met Brighton at the weekend who has notoriously been one of Jurgen Klopp’s bogey sides.
The Seagulls pulled off a 2-1 upset thanks to a late winner from Kauro Mitoma in extra time.
The Japanese winger was exceptional once again and had Arnold on toast throughout the contest, this resulted in his substitution in the second half.
Judging by his body language, he wasn’t at all happy about the decision.
Trent mate.. come on now. All you ever give is 3/10 performances every game, I watched the game you were so bang average. So what do you want the manager to do? How about instead of acting this way off the pitch, maybe it’s time to show that passion on it?.. @TrentAA pic.twitter.com/csEyDzAYwM
