The season’s curtain raiser ended 1-1 but with Guardiola’s men lifting the Community Shield after winning 7-6 on penalties.
But, fans took to social media to moan about one tackle in particular from Bernardo Silva where he went in on Alejandro Garnacho

One fan moaned: ‘Clear malicious intent. He acted WAY AFTER the ball was kicked. Dirty player, should have been sent off yes.’
Another added: ‘That should be a red any day of the week.’
A third commented: ‘If this is going to happen again you can see why 115 charges won’t happen.’
A fourth replied: ‘He’s a horrible little man!’
