If you can ignore the questionable voice acting (let’s face it, no-one can quite manage to mimic Seth MacFarlane), you could be forgiven for thinking that this Family Guy swipe at Harry Potter came from the actual series.
But in fact, it was written and animated by a fan of the controversial cartoon – and we reckon they should sign him up to the Family Guy team as he has pretty much nailed their style.
YouTube user Patrick McCarthy blended the worlds of Family Guy and Harry Potter and threw in the edgy jokes and cutaway gags that Family Guy are known for.
There was even the token ‘everyone hates Meg’ segment where she enjoyed a brief cameo as Hermione.
If we see Family Guy advertising a Harry Potter episode, we know exactly where they got their idea from.
