The sons of former icons Robin van Persie and Zinedine Zidane faced off against each other in a recent under-19s tournament.
Feyenoord took on Real Madrid in a tournament earlier this week, with Shaqueel van Persie representing the Dutch outfit and Elyaz Zidane playing for Madrid.
Van Persie has followed in his father’s footsteps plying his trade as a striker, while Zidane has decided to take more of a back seat in matches and play as a defender.
Feyenoord lost 1-0 to the Spanish side and were eilminated from the Mohammed VI Football Academy’s U19 International Tournament which features the likes of Lyon, Marseille, Anderlecht and Rangers.
