Things haven’t gone well for Frank Lampard in the Everton job again this season and last night was crushing blow to his chances of staying in the job. One of the names that is being thrown around as the next Toffees boss is one of their former players Wayne Rooney.
The record goal scorer for club and country is currently coaching state side, but his still an Everton favourite and if he game back to Goodison Park as a player he would be well received by the players and the fans alike.
Maybe it’s about time one of the greats of the English game came back and managed his boyhood club? Wouldn’t it be great to have Wayne Rooney back in the English game, what a character he was and still is in the game.
