The reason on why Erling Haaland was taken off at half-time

Manchester City swept aside FC Copenhagen five goals to nil last night with Jack Grealish getting man of the match and Erling Haaland getting a brace, all standard stuff for Pep Guardiola and his men. But one thing that has emerged from journalist Sam Lee is Erling Haaland fuming while going off at half-time.

The prolific Norway international was substituted by Guardiola during the break with Cole Palmer coming on in his place. It’s going to be weird watching the World Cup this winter in Qatar and not having one of the best players in the world at the biggest event.

I’m sure the break will do him well and Pep Guardiola will only be delighted his not there…
