Manchester City have beaten Fulham – and there are no prizes for guessing who’s found the back of the net.
The champions were in real jeopardy in the first-half, with Joao Cancelo conceding a penalty and subsequently being shown a red card.
City had to play the entire second half with ten men and Arsenal fans could have been forgiven for getting a little excited.
Sadly, as Arsenal fans ought to know by now, there is somewhat of an inevitability about City and certain striker of theirs.
In the 93rd minute of the contest, Kevin De Bruyne was ‘fouled’ in the penalty area and the referee pointed to the spot. It was a soft one.
Nobody was going to jump the queue ahead of Haaland to take the penalty, with the Norwegian grabbing the ball and putting it on the spot.
Haaland stepped up and was seriously fortunate not to have seen his effort saved, with Bernd Leno guessing the right way.
It found the back of the net, though, much to Haaland and City’s delight – they’re back on the top of the Premier League.
