Erling Haaland has revealed that he forgot what Pep Guardiola said in his halftime team talk during Manchester Cityβs win over Arsenal.
With the score 1-1 at halftime, Guardiolaβs words will have held some meaning but Haaland was honest in admitting he forgot what his manager said amidst the joy of the victory over the Gunners which sent them top of the Premier League table.
Speaking to Amazon Prime Sport, the Norwegian said: βThere were small adjustments at halftime from Pep, in the end we have quality and we need to get it from every single player, which is what we did today.β
βI honestly donβt remember what he said to us, Iβm just so happy right now.β

Haaland touched on how pleased he was for his team, crediting Arsenal for being so tough to play against.
βI think we have to play a bit more like this sometimes and thatβs exactly what we did today. Iβm so proud I have to say, of every single guy.
