(Video) Erling Haaland makes Brighton defence look like children as he nets 16th Premier League goal

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Erling Haaland has scored again for Manchester City.

Haaland, signed from Borussia Dortmund over the summer transfer window, has enjoyed a start to life in the Premier League like no player we have seen before.

The Norwegian had 15 goals in ten Premier League appearances to his name heading into today’s clash with Brighton. We can now make that 16 goals in 11 appearances.

In a generation where every intricate detail of our game is pedantically analysed, City made football look very simple with their opener against Brighton today.

All it took to break the deadlock was one long ball from the goalkeeper to the frontman, who shrugged off the challenge of the Brighton defender like he were a school child.

To all those whose fickle nature saw them replace Haaland with Mohamed Salah as their Fantasy Premier League captain, it’s probably for the best if you look away now…
