As is reported by the Daily Mail, Haaland is pocketing as much as £865k-a-week once his base wage and guaranteed bonuses are all taken into account.
That not only makes Haaland, by far, the best-paid player in the Premier League, but also one of the highest-paid footballers ever to have lived.
City fans will be hoping that he continues to justify that level of expenditure with his ruthlessness in front of goal. In truth, there’s little doubt he will.
