Erik ten Hag has sent his best wishes to Dutch Formula One driver Max Verstappen ahead of the new driving season.
Verstappen is the reigning World Drivers Champion, finishing the 2022 season with 454 points having won 15 of the 22 races last season and now he has received a heartfelt message from Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wishing him good luck for 2023.
ten Hag is currently enjoying a fantastic 2023 himself with United, with the Red Devils losing just one of their 17 matches in all competitions since the turn of the year while they also sit 3rd in the Premier League.
“Verstappen is an amazing driver, has a great personality and he is a winner and I’m sure he will do the same this year [as he did last year].
“We are so proud of him in the Netherlands and we wish him good luck for the season.”

Verstappen begins his title defence this Sunday, as Bahrain plays host to the opening race of the new F1 season.
