Erik ten Hag is still getting to grips with his Manchester United squad, with the Dutchman yet to figure out his best team.

With this, he has some players that he will need to assess with the January transfer window on the horizon, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of those players whose future is still up in the air.

The English rightback has played just four minutes of league football this season and has been linked with a move to Wolves this winter, but ten Hag insists that he still has a chance to recover his United career.

It’s clear, he has a future,” said ten Hag.

He had some good years here at Man United, but from the start this season he had a lot of illnesses and injuries.

From the restart, he’s fit, he could train with the team and you see him progressing. His fitness level is getting better, his performance level is getting better and I’m really happy with his performance against Burnley.”

Wan-Bissaka’s former side Crystal Palace have also registered their interest in bringing him back to the club but these words from ten Hag will no doubt give the 25-year old the confidence he needs to get himself back to playing regular football.
