A steward at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium stole the show during England v Austria last night with a quite hilarious face mask.
While there are very few out there who will get even a scrape of enjoyment out of wearing a face mask wherever you go, we all recognise that it’s for the greater good and do it.
For some, face masks serve as a permanent reminder of the ongoing pandemic, but one steward at last night’s England game instead used his as an opportunity to put a smile on people’s faces.
Have a look at the superb face mask that the unidentified steward was wearing, which was spotted by the TV cameras after Trent Alexander-Arnold took a throw-in.

It’s a timely reminder that, even in the face of adversity, with all that we have endured over the last year, this country still does have a sense of humour.
You’re a hero, Mr. Steward.
