The England and Lions winger Anthony Watson has today announced his retirement for the game of rugby union on medical grounds. Such a shame, in his prime he was a serious player and should have got a lot more caps for England.

Anthony Watson was special.
Robbed of a truck load more England caps by injuries. #EnglandRugbypic.twitter.com/y7J1AV8r6k

Yeah was a player this lad was tbf. Not an England fan but a rugby fan, so it was always a shame for the game that he struggled with injuries so much. When he was fit and flying he was one of the best going.
Such a shame to have career cut short by injury, an incredible talent and one of Englands best ever wingers.
Great message from a great lad.
He played as long as he could, what else can you do?
Superb career and achieved a hellavu lot.
Hats off to Anthony Watson👏👏.
