After sevens years in charge of England Eddie Jones has been sacked as the manager, after a meeting today with the heads of the RFU held a review of the Autumn Series. Eddie Jones statistically was the most successful England manager, but the results lately haven’t been up to scratch and the big wigs made the decision to part ways with the Ex-Australian head coach.

73% – Eddie Jones' 73% win rate is the highest of any @EnglandRugby men's head coach – Jones was also the first coach to guide England to a 100% Test record in a calendar year since Geoff Cooke in 1992 (6/6), winning all 13 Tests during his first year in charge in 2016. Eddie Jones gone as well.
Never known a week like it in test rugby.
If you're a head coach, turn your phone off.

England sacking Eddie Jones because his borderline-abusive style of management has alienated players, coaches and staff at the RFU… only to replace him with Richard Cockerill… I tell you what man, that is some funny shit.

Eddie Jones made a statement as he departed also, which read the following;
“I am pleased with much that we have achieved as an England team and I look forward to watching the team’s performance in the future,” said Eddie Jones.
“Many of the players and I will no doubt keep in touch and I wish them all well in their future careers.”
Good luck to him in whatever comes next, USA maybe?
