Anthony Joshua was unsuccessful in his bid to become a three-time heavyweight champion at the weekend.
‘AJ’ took a beating from a rejuvenated Daniel Dubois who retained his IBF title in style winning in spectacular fashion at Wembley Stadium.
Footage of a pumped up Eddie Hearn has emerged on social media when Joshua was making his walk to the ring with many believing he shouldn’t be involved as his fighter was making his way to the ring.

One fight fan moaned: ‘Reminder there is never a good reason for a promoter to ring-walk, beyond uncontrollable ego and jumped-up opinion of their importance. None.’

Another added: ‘Hearn walking 10 yards in front of Joshua and jumping up and down to some crap music 🤢’
A third commented: ‘Did he try a Conor Mchearn strut!! No shame this man.’
Should promoters be involved with the ring walks? Let us know in the comments.
Depends on the circumstances.
If it is a fighter and they have had that promoter their entire career and they are retiring after the fight, and the boxer wants their promotor and manager there in the ring walk with them as a thank you to them I have no problems with it.
Hearn clearly isn’t a part of the actual ring walk and looks to have interjected himself which is just very wrong. He should have been in his seat.
