In that time, the Springboks player has picked up a new job as a coach with his club the Hollywood Bet Sharks.
The move comes amid head coach John Plumtree’s decision to stand down as the team’s head coach after the upcoming Champions Cup clash with Toulouse.
Etzebeth will be a valuable asset for the Sharks in the coaching ticket, I’m sure they would have preferred to have had him out on the pitch, but it is what it is now.
