The Aussie boxer has hit out at the lack of action she has had in the ring recently.
Bridges, 37, hasnât fought since December of last year when she lost her world title to Miyo Yoshida.
Since then she has been unable to secure the rematch with the Japanese fighter and slammed the sport.
Taking to X formerly Twitter she wrote:
âItâs quite sad I was speaking to my last Opponent Miyo Yoshida who also hasnât faught since our fight.. 8 months both of us out the ring, both wanting THE fight but unfortunately The people who could organise it, wonât make it happen. What a shame. Boxings shithouse.
I feel sorry for her as a champ not being able to get a fight⌠but I know the feeling.. not sure why itâs so hard to make a fight. And why keep us so inactive
Shes a single mum and boxing is her only income as far as I know and she (And I) are just put on iceâŚ
If only the fans really knew the shit that goes on behind the scenes. We are fighters we all wanna be active and fight and get pay days.â
