Dublin selector Greg Kennedy is set to be hit with a four-week ban for his interference with play during last Saturday’s Leinster SHC clash with Kilkenny.
The incident occurred four minutes before half-time.
TJ Reid, standing over a free, sent it sideways to the waiting Billy Ryan, unmarked 15m away to his right.
However, Kennedy was standing beside him and became a participant by putting up his hand and catching Reid’s pass.
Brian Cody commented after the game that it was a “bizarre” thing to do.
