Dimitar Berbatov has accused Jadon Sancho of being disrespectful towards Erik ten Hag as the English winger’s loan move away is confirmed.
The 23-year-old has officially left Old Trafford as he rejoins Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Sancho has had a tough time since initially joining the Red Devils which culminated in a public fallout with Ten Hag back in September.
Unhappy with the comments made by the Dutch manager after he was left out of the United squad, Sancho hit out on social media which led to him being banished from the first team.
United legend Berbatov has claimed the winger was ‘disrespecting’ the manager.
‘When you complain and make that public in the case of Sancho, you show a bit of disrespect towards the manager.’ Berbatov told Mail Sport.
‘In the case of Ten Hag, one season in the managerial position of United, his authority is not going to be as the same Sir Alex, right?
‘So there is a difference. Because if Sir Alex was here still, Sancho, was he going to do what he’s done now? I don’t think so. He will never allow himself to do something like this.’
