Diego Costa is BACK in the Premier League – no, he’s not scored, he’s just been sent off for a headbutt.

Costa was renowned during his time at Chelsea not only for his goals but for oftentimes playing on the very edge of what’s acceptable.

Remarkably, the former Spain international striker was never shown a red card during his time at Stamford Bridge, despite some close calls.

He was, of course, handed a retrospective ban by the FA for a tussle with then Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny. He wouldn’t have got away with those antics in the era of VAR.
