Ruben Dias’ ex-girlfriend April Ivy has appeared to reference the pair’s breakup in a newly released song.
Dias, who was arguably the best defender in Europe last campaign, split from his long-term partner back in September.
So reports claimed, the pair no longer believed that their lives and lifestyles were compatible and as a result called time on their relationship.
Ivy, who like most artists uses her music as an opportunity to express her emotions, is clearly feeling blue about becoming estranged from the Manchester City defender.
Ivy runs through the list of things she’s sorry for, apologising for not being good enough and asking for forgiveness.

She hasn’t confirmed that she is directly addressing Dias in the song, but it’s certainly implied.
It will have been all the more difficult for the pair to split with there not seeming to be any bad blood. The reasoning behind their separation appears to have been nothing either could have prevented.
Whether Dias will have the strength to listen to Ivy’s new track or would rather not put himself through the emotional ordeal remains to be seen.
