Derek Chisora has revealed he turned down a fight with American, Jarrell Miller.
Miller will now face Daniel Dubois instead on the huge December 23rd card.
And speaking to DAZN the veteran heavyweight admitted it was down to the financials of the deal. He said: “Hand on my heart, they offered me the fight and we spoke numbers, they came up with an offer and decided it was their final offer. They said ‘if you do not take it, we are going to give it to Daniel Dubois’ and I was like ‘you know what, go ahead, give it to him’. That is why Daniel is in here.”
“I don’t cry over spilt milk, I don’t regret, that’s why I am here to support. I am not trying to talk bad about the card, it is an amazing card.”
“I turned it down because the numbers were not right, it was back and forth and stuff like that.”
