A deranged England fan kidnapped a disabled child in a ploy to force entry into Wembley for the Euro 2020 final.
Hosting the European Championship final at Wembley with England involved ought to have been an occasion for the history books. It was, but for all the wrong reasons. It will go down as one of the darkest days in English football history.
Intoxicated England supporters made their way to Wembley early doors, irrespective of whether they had a ticket. They drank and sniffed the day away, which rather predictably resulted in absolute carnage.

As is reported by The Sun, the sick-in-the-head supporter abducted a wheelchair-bound child from their father and posed as a steward in an attempt to gain entry to the stadium without a ticket.
That is just one of multiple horrifying stories that have come out in wake of the final, with the events leaving it looking unlikely that England will ever be allowed to host a major international tournament final again.
